Fira de Reis de la Gran Via

 The Three Wise Men

Every year the 6th of January we celebrate the Three Wise Men. Kids wake up very soon to see what presents they have brought to them. Then families join to have dinner and end with "el tortell de reis", a type of cake.

So if you are in Barcelona don't miss la Fira de Reis de la Gran Via (the Three Wise Men Fair in la Gran Via).

There you will find 170 stands of many different things such as toys, jewellry, sweets and crafts.

There's a stand that I like a lot because of the originality of its pieces like leather purses or keyrings shaped fruit or leaves, you can check the website here.

I really recommend having a walk around the fair while eating some fries or churros with chocolate.

Cada 6 de enero celebramos los Reyes. Los niños se levantan muy temprano para ver qué regalos les han traído. Luego las familias se reúnen para comer y acaban con el roscón de reyes.

Si estáis en Barcelona no os perdáis la Fira de Reis de la Gran Via.

Allí encontraréis 170 stands de muchas cosas diferentes como juguetes, joyas, caramelos y objetos artesanales para regalar.

Hay un stand que me gusta mucho por la originalidad de sus piezas como monederos o llaveros de cuero con formas de frutas, hojas... Podéis verlo en su web aquí.

Os recomiendo de verdad dar un paseo por la feria mientras coméis unas patatas fritas o unos churros con chocolate.

DIY Pop Tab Bracelet

Yesterday night I felt creative and made this cute bracelet!

Me and my sister have been keeping pop tabs for weeks and it was time to do something with them. Then I bought some satin ribbons.

I had an idea how I wanted my bracelet to be, but I didn't know how to start. So I found this video in Youtube where it's all very well explained.

Hope you like it and you do it because it's easy and fun to do!

Ayer por la noche me sentí creativa e hice esta pulsera tan mona!

Mi hermana y yo hemos estado guardando chapas de las latas de refrescos durante semanas y ya era hora de hacer algo con ellas. También compré cintas de raso.

Tenía una idea de como quería que fuera la pulsera, pero no sabía como empezarla. Así que encontré este video en Youtube donde está todo muy claro.

Espero que os guste y que os animéis a hacerla porque es fácil y divertido!

Finally I have the time to write a post! This last week has been exhausting!

On Monday it was my 21th birthday so I had the weekend to celebrate it with my family and my boyfriend!

However I've had had a cold since now... and studying...

Today I've done my last exam before Christmas and the classes have ended!!! :)

So now I'm prepared for doing NOTHING!!! :)

Por fin tengo tiempo para escribir un post! Esta última semana ha sido agotadora!

El lunes fue mi cumpleaños (21 ya.. jaja) y lo celebré durante el fin de semana con mi familia y mi novio!

Pero he estado resfriada hasta ahora... y estudiando...

Hoy he hecho el último examen antes de Navidad y las clases se han acabado!!! :)

Así que ya estoy preparada para no hacer NADA!!! :)

Rihanna, Loud Tour 2011, Barcelona

 

On Wednesday night Rihanna's concert took place in the Palau Sant Jordi, here in Barcelona.

When I go to concerts I like to be in the first row so I can see the artist nearer. But this time we had seat tickets, it was ok, but not the same.

First there was some time for Calvin Harris and then Rihanna.

Rihanna was fantastic and I loved a lot her outfits!!! I think The first one was amazing :)

I didn't like the fact that she was 45 minutes late... but later she did it pretty well. There are many people who says that she doesn't sing well live, but I don't think so.

The best song was the ending with "We found love"!

El miércoles por la noche fuí al concierto de Rihanna en el Palau Sant Jordi, aquí en Barcelona.

Cuando voy a conciertos me gusta estar entre las primeras filas para poder ver mejor al artista. Pero esta vez teníamos entradas para la grada, estuvo bien, pero no es lo mismo.

Primero fue el turno de Calvin Harris, que era el telonero y luego ella.

Rihanna estuvo fantástica y me encantaron sus outfits!!! 

El primero con pedrería es el que me gustó más :)

No me gustó nada que empezara 45 minutos tarde... pero luego lo hizo bastante bien. 

Hay mucha gente que dice que en directo no canta bien, pero yo no creo eso.

La mejor canción fue la que se guardó para el final: "We found love"!

Christmas Concert in la Font Màgica de Montjuïc

At the same time that you are enjoying the water and lights show of the fountain you'll be able to listen to typical Christmas songs some of important artists and others more traditional.

This activity is free. You only need to go there and enjoy the show.

When? 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24 and 25 of December and 1 of January.

From 19h to 21h. Sessions: 19h, 19.30h, 20h and 20.30h.

Ice rink in Plaça Catalunya

It's called Bargelona and is the biggest ice rink in open air of Europe. 

Its dimensions are 40 x 30 metres and it offers a cafeteria service and changing rooms.

Until the 8th of January.

From Sunday to Thursday: 10.00h - 21.00h

Friday, Saturday and eves of public holidays: 10.00h - 23.00h

24th and 31st of December: 10.00h - 20.00h

25th of December: 11.00h - 14.00h

Price: ticket + gloves + skates 8€ / 1h and 6€ / 30 min.

Concierto de Navidad en la Font Màgica de Montjuïc

Al mismo tiempo que disfrutáis del espectáculo de agua y luces de la fuente, podréis escuchar villancicos populares y otros de artistas importantes.

Esta actividad es gratis. Solo tenéis que ir allí y disfrutar del espectáculo.

¿Cuándo? 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24 y 25 de diciembre y 1 de enero. De 19h a 21h.

Pista de Hielo en Plaça Catalunya

Se llama Bargelona y es la pista de hielo a cielo abierto más grande de Europa.
