Collioure, France

I went to Collioure the same day that I went to Perpignan (only 30km).

As we are in the low season, there were no people visiting the town. 

However, I've been there in summer and I cannot tell you how crowded it is, all the bars and stores are opened and it's full of life!

The great point was in taking photos with nobody around! 

In Collioure you can find the last place where the poet Antonio Machado lived and died and also his grave.

You should visit the little church and enjoy the views because they are just amazing!

Fui a Collioure el mismo día que fui a Perpignan (a solo 30km).

Como estamos en temporada baja, no había gente visitando el pueblo. 

Aunque he estado allí en verano y no os puedo decir como se llega ha llenar, todos los bares y tiendas están abiertas y llenos de vida!

Lo bueno fue que pude hacer fotos sin nadie alrededor! 

En Collioure podéis encontrar el último sitio donde vivió y murió el poeta Antonio Machad y también su tumba.

Deberíais visitar la pequeña iglesia y disfrutar de las vistas porque son realmente increíbles!

Perpignan, France

 

Last week, I went on an excursion with my Tourist Guide Uni class. It consisted in going from Barcelona to Perpignan and then to Collioure and each student had to explain something as a tour guide.

Today, I'm going to show you how nice is Perpignan and in the next post you'll be amazed with Collioure's beauty.

I've been three times to each place so there are photos of my trip to Perpignan last April in Saint George's Day.

For you to get located, I'll show you a map of the area. It's in the South of France, near Catalunya.

La semana pasada, fui de excursión con mi clase de Guiaje Turístico de la Uni. Consistía en ir desde Barcelona hasta Perpignan y luego a Collioure y cada alumno tenía que explicar algo como guía.

Hoy, os voy a enseñar lo bonito que es Perpignan y en el siguiente post quedaréis impresionados con la belleza de Collioure.

He estado tres veces en cada sitio, así que también hay fotos del viaje que hice a Perpignan el abril pasado el día de Sant Jordi.

Finally Pinterest

 Some days ago I told you that I made my Pinspire profile because I was in the waitlist of Pinterest (thank you to some of you for the invitations :)).

Finally I made my Pinterest profile and now I'm going to let pass some days to see which I like the most... but I can say now that probably I'm liking more Pinterest. So maybe I'll delete my Pinspire account... we'll see.

I love the fact that a lot of people liked my bracelet :) I'm so happy that many people is taking it as an idea for fundraising and for gifts!

Hace unos días os hablé de mi perfil en Pinspire porqué estaba en la lista de espera de Pinterest.

Finalmente me he hecho perfil en Pinterest y ahora voy a dejar pasar unos días para ver cuál me gusta más... pero ya puedo decir que probablemente me quede con Pinterest y borre el perfil de Pinspire... ya veremos.

Me gusta el hecho de que mucha gente le guste mi brazalete :) Estoy muy contenta que haya gente que lo coja como idea para recaudar fondos y como regalo!

Pinspire vs. Pinterest

Two days ago I wanted to see my blog's statistics. And what a surprise! I saw I had 12.000 pageviews only in this post (today more than 17.300)! I wanted to know what had happened, as my blog didn't received many visits until then.

So I found that the visits came from Pinterest, a website where people can pin (like) photos and collect them in albums, very interesting! I liked the page and the fact that many people liked my bracelet :)

I wanted to make my own profile in Pinterest but you need an invitation, I asked for it but I don't have any answer yet.

So I remembered Chiara Ferragni made a post this week about a similar web: Pinspire. Ok... it's almost the same thing as Pinterest but you don't need any invitation just a registration to pin photos and nothing to look around people's profile.

My decision? Making a Pinspire profile! You can see and follow me here!

I like this page because you can find lots of cute photos others find and pin them! So take a look! It's worth it!

Hace dos días miré las estadísticas de mi blog. Vaya sorpresa! Vi que había tenido 12.000 visitas solo en este post (hoy más de 17.300)! Quería saber que había pasado, ya que mi blog no recibía demasiadas visitas hasta entonces.

Así que descubrí que las visitas venían de Pinterest, una web donde puedes pinear (te puede gustar) fotos y coleccionarlas en varios álbumes, muy interesante! Me gustó esta página y el hecho de que a tanta gente le gustara mi pulsera :)

Entonces quise hacerme mi propio perfil en Pinterest pero se necesita una invitación, la pedí pero aún no tengo respuesta.

Luego me acordé que Chiara Ferragni había hecho un post esta semana de una web similar: Pinspire. Vale... casi es lo mismo que Pinterest, pero no necesitas ninguna invitación solo registrarte para pinear fotos y nada para ver los perfiles de la gente!

Mi decisión? Hacerme un perfil en Pinspire! Lo podéis ver y seguirme aquí!

Me gusta esta página porque puedes encontrar un montón de fotos monas que otros encuentran y pinearlas! Dadle un vistazo! Vale la pena!

No Solo Frutas

As I told you here, in the 'King's Fair' there was a stall where they sold bags, purses, etc with fruit and vegetables shapes and made of leather.

My mum has one for a long time now and when I went there and see the stall this year I couldn't resist buying this pear!!! Isn't it lovely? It's so soft and easy to handle!

Como os dije aquí, en la Feria de Reyes había un puesto donde vendían bolsos, monederos, etc. con forma de frutas y vegetales hechos en cuero.

Mi madre tiene uno desde hace tiempo y yo cuando estuve allí y ví el puesto este año no me pude resistir y compré esta pera!!! No es preciosa? Es tan suave y fácil de manejar!
