Summer!

How is everything going? I hope you're doing great and that you all are enjoying your summer!
I haven't posted anything for a long long time and it's not that I'm missing ideas but time.
So these last months I finished my 3rd year of my degree in Tourism, end my internship in a Study Abroad where I learned a lot and had a lot of fun discovering new places of Catalunya, I've been working in some new DIYs and I've attended to a country party in my 'country-dance' school and to Sala Vivaldi (a place in Barcelona where there's country linedance every Wednesday night).
Last week sales started and yes... I bought a lot... I'm also thinking of posting my beloved bags (I have loads... they are my obsession).
Finally, I want to remind you that you can find me on my Pinterest profile! I can spend hours there!
Check my Facebook to know about the next posts, extra photos and info!

Creps Barcelona

On Monday I went to try this restaurant in Barcelona.
It's all about crêpes, you cannot imagine how many different types there are.
We ordered a menu of 9'5€ which included a drink, a salad and a crêpe. Ours were: one of sobrassada (sausage) and a fried egg and the other of 4 cheeses.
Above all, everything is delicious!
Where? Via Laietana 45, Barcelona

Feliç Sant Jordi!

Every 23rd of April in Catalonia we celebrate Sant Jordi's (George) Day.
I love this day so much, I think it's the most beautiful day of the year because the streets are crowded of people and stalls with plenty of books and roses.
This day here is similar to Sant Valentine's Day in the rest of the world meaning the love day. However, it's a tradition that men give roses to women and women give books to men.
Giving roses comes from Sant Jordi's legend: Sant Jordi killed a dragon who was going to eat a princess and from his blood a rosebush was born, then he cut a rose from it and gave it to the princess.
And we give books because the 23rd of April is also the Books Day and the date in which Miguel de Cervantes and William Shakespeare died.

So today, if you are in Barcelona or other parts of Catalonia:
PLEASE, GO AND ENJOY THE DAY! :)

Lovely photo from here.

American flavor

I went to New York in 2009 and fell in love with Hershey's!

So as the 6th of January we celebrate the Three Wise Men Day, this year my parents gave me this wonderful box (love the travel details) full of mainly chocolate from there!

I'm from Barcelona so they got all of these in a store (I still have to visit) called Taste of America.

My favorite...

Simple Plan, Get Your Heart On Tour 2012, Barcelona

THE BEST CONCERT I'VE EVER BEEN TO!

I've loved Simple Plan for many years and last 13th of March was my third concert of my favourite band!
I went there so early in the morning just to ensure I was going to be in the first lines in the concert which was held at Razzmatazz, Barcelona.
I spent the day there with my sister and a lot of fans who, this time, were many teen girls, some very impertinent... it has to be said lol
By the way, I sensed it was going to be a great day! And it was!
The show was AWESOME!!!!!
Each member of the band gave their best to the fans, I cannot tell you the feelings you get there, you have to be there to understand!
Every song was AMAZING and they are so natural!
I loved they managed to speak a little bit of Catalan, they are INCREDIBLE!
OMG! They were craaaaazy!!! They jumped to the crowd! I had a lot of fun!!!!!
I already took a pick in my first concert, so this time was better: I took TWO!!!
Then my sister and I waited for the band to go out  from the club and YESSSSS!
WE MADE IT TO HAVE A PHOTO WITH EACH OF THEM AND GET A PAPER AND OUR T-SHIRTS SIGNED!!!
