Demonstration for Catalan Independence

Just a week before, in Barcelona there was a huge demonstration where almost 2 million people went through the streets for Catalonia's Independence.
The 11th of September I always go to see my city and its atmosphere, this year I couldn't miss it and went also to the demonstration.
Here, for you, a mix of photos of this whole historic day.

You cannot imagine how many buses from other cities and villages from Catalonia come to Barcelona.

Bona Diada :)

Here we are again, another year celebrating Catalonia's National Day:
la Diada de Catalunya!
I love this day because everybody is on the streets and it's very emotional.
However, this year will be different, today many many many people will be on the streets demanding Catalonia's Independence!
Enjoy this day, is going to be a big day!

VISCA CATALUNYA!

Another year, again I also want to remember all the S-11 victims and their families.

Kiosko Burger

If you're in Barcelona don't miss the opportunity to eat at Kiosko: gourmet burgers in Barcelona!
I went to this kind of fast but good food restaurant a couple of weeks ago and I can only say it's awesome, different and their food is delicious.
When you go in it's so original the way you have to order your food: while you are waiting your turn you must complete a paper with your favourite burger, bread, extras and drinks (you can also spend this time completing a sudoku).
Then you give your order and wait in a table (a table in the middle of the restaurant shared with other clients or a bar which surrounds the place) to be served.
Finally you only have to enjoy the meal!

You must know: Kiosko is worried about the Planet for this reason they take care of the environment allowing you recycling after your meal. Moreover, their glasses are made of 100% corn!
Where? Marquès De L’Argentera, 1bis . 08003 Barcelona
When? Everyday, 1pm - 1am.

08003 Barcelona
¿Cuándo? Cada día, 13h – 1h.

Summer nails

I love painting my nails, especially during summer.
Here you have two types of nail art I wore during August.
First, I usually paint my nails with transparent nail polish, then I put two layers of colour and the draws I want to make.
Finally, another transparent layer to give some brightness and make it last more days.
The nail polishes I use the most are from Kiko, they are great: very good quality and only 1'50€, so cheap.

On my Pinterest profile you can find a board called Nails with more nails styles.
Don't forget to follow me!

¡No olvides seguirme!

Hey! It's been a while! How was your summer?
Mine wasn't as good as I imagined, although I travelled (my passion).
So today, before showing you some photos about these last months I needed and wanted to share some motivation quotes/photos I found and that from today I am going to keep in mind.
I found them all through this amazing Tumblr: http://to-motivate-you.tumblr.com
Let's start September!
Hope this helps you as it helped me :)

20 years of the Barcelona Olympic Games

Today, but 20 years ago, the 25th of July of 1992 the Barcelona Olympic Games started.
These Games mean a lot to my city because they put Barcelona in the map, they made it more popular and improved the city's facilities and infrastructures.
As the Games were so important, these lasts weeks there's been some activities and TV programmes about them.
I want to show you how Torre Agbar in Barcelona lights some nights with the London Games theme (you can also see a video I made in my Facebook fanpage).
In 1992 I was one year old and I don't remember anything, but my father has told me that he got a little piece of the flag which was spread during the Games' opening ceremony. The whole flag was cut into little pieces and then sold or given (I don't know it exactly) with a newspaper.
